B&W, oil and acrylic on canvas, 120x200cm

A man waits in contemplation to sell his zebra skin soccer balls in a forest. Three mannequins march forward as if in replication. The work offers a reflection the human condition in relation to capitalist surplus, cloning, AI and demographic collapse.

Madonna, acrylic on canvas, 120 x 120 cm

A seated woman in a black burka with a nude male child evokes traditional Madonna and Child religious paintings. The composition here presents a striking contrast between the completely covered figure in Islamic dress and the exposed infant. The figure in the burka exercises the right to remain unseen. The nude child demonstrates complete innocence and openness – unaware of the need for privacy or concealment, existing in a natural state before social constructs of modesty. In modern digitized society with constant biometric surveillance, the burka here can be read as a symbol of power and protection – the woman chooses her privacy, controls her image, maintains her anonymity.
